Relax, learn & enjoy horse riding in beautiful Norfolk

Be inspired

If you are looking for a 5*, confidence-building experience on a well loved and friendly horse or pony this is the place to be!

For children

The amazingly patient and friendly Easdon Jess is a 12.2 hand Dartmoor cross Spot.  She welcomes riders from the age of 5 who are new to riding as well as those with a bit more experience.  Several of her riders have ADHD or autism spectrum disorder.  Jess loves an apple or carrot at the end of a lesson and is always happy to wear a hat for celebrations (see her collection in our gallery).

Woody Maggie is a 13.2 hand First Cross New Forest Pony who has been with us since she was 2 years old.  She likes to please and helps the more experience children progress their skill with cantering and jumping.   Maggie is extremely bendy and has developed her own style of stretching that we like to call “Poga” (pony yoga).

For adults

Whether you are new to riding, an experienced rider or want to return to riding Brian and Crummy Moonlight (Mollie) will be able to help you develop your skills and confidence.

Mollie is a gentle 16 hand mare. Originally from Ireland, Mollie has hunted, jumped and been shown before her move to England in 2022.  She has been with us here at Marquis Equine since Easter 2022.  Mollie is a gentle, forgiving Irish Sports Horse.

The maximum rider weight for Mollie is 83kg (13 stone).
